How is that addresses? What's the source path in the task? It is currently in the SAME folder on our Altiris server that the Chrome MSI is in. (also set a service to disabled)īut my questions are - what do I tell the task to do - where is the file going to be copied from - I need to supply a path. ![]() I can't figure that part out - I know it will need to be a task - I can do that and other things via command lines. ![]() Of course installing Chrome can be done with the software management if I ever get this 747 if the software world figured out - the trick is I need to bundle a task with it that will copy that file intot he Chrome program folder AFTER Chrome is installed. It is called master_prefrences and goes into the same folder as the Chrome exe file once Chrome is installed. Google supplies an MSI file for enterprise use.īut as soon as it's installed I need to replace a single file that has the master default preferences in it - these determine how it will first open, what the home page is and so on. So I have a similar issue - I need to push Google Chrome enterprise to over 300 computers. ![]()
